Help! Need help with wiring Coleman Mach thermostat

Hey everyone! Need help ASAP on trying to wire a Mach thermostat. It’s in an 2001 Jayco Eagle TT. Hubby took picture before taking it off, However there is a small white wire coming from the trailer that wasn’t in his photo. It seems it’s for the furnace because the air will run but as soon as the switch is turned for the furnace it blows the fuse. It is a 6 wire thermostat. If I can figure out how to attach a picture I will. Thanks for any help.

Maybe this will help. This is a pic of the factory Coleman mach thermostat before I replaced it with the Coleman mach digital thermostat.

To post a pic:
1. bottom of reply click on go advanced.
2. under additional options click on manage attachments
3. You will get a small window that says choose file
4. find your file (pic) and click on upload
5. I always click on preview post before actually posting the pic.

Sometimes the pics turn on their side, I have no idea why. I just never worry about it. Told you about the side pics.

Shirlee,

Yes, according to my Coleman Mach wiring schematic the white wire is for "heat".

Here is a pic of my Coleman Mach wiring from my 'retired' 2005 Eagle TT.......

Does your rig have a seperate thermostat for the furnace? If so that wire would be used for the Heat Strip or Heat Pump in the a/c unit. It may just be touching bare metal up in the a/c so when you turn it to heat it shorts.
