Inverter Generators
Hi all,
Been RVing for a year and have a seasonal site... this fall, we are taking it on the road for an extended snowbird trek... I was planning on picking up an inverter generator for occasional boondocking and for when campgrounds lose power. Can’t decide if it’s better to have one 3400 watt Unit or two 2000 watt units with a parallel box... seems to me the latter may be the way to go because if the Benny fails you at least have one for the bare necessities. Secondly, they are considerably easier to cart around... what are your thoughts?
Secondly, brands... I know Honda is reputedly the best but my they are expensive. How are the other brands ie Champion, Firman, Hyundai to name a few?
Thanks for your thoughts!
