Jayco keyed alike program
Just purchased a new 2021 Jayco Eagle and all locks are keyed alike so I only have one key for everything (Bauer lock system). Dealer told me I’m the only one with this key and the code will not be reissued to another RV owner. Is this true or is he full of it and there will be other 5th wheels out there with the same key? I was going to change all the locks in the spring with custom locks but I am wondering if I need to now. Thanks.

Yeah, he’s been drinking the kool-aid again. There are “series” of Bauer locks and each series has a 3 digit identifier that denotes the cut of that key. Which is convenient if you want some more spares, “send me 3 copies of 726”.
At one point it seemed all storage compartment locks were coded 721 IIRC (non-Bauer I think).
I had 3 different keys for our 5th and I replaced all locks except the slam-hatches with lock sets matching them. Are there RV’s with matching locks? Yes, but with several lock manufacturers I doubt it’d be very common.
I don’t worry about it. A pry tool will open any RV lock.

When you go into the dealer you will find the techs all have a master key to your Jayco. They still ask for your key, but the techs don't use it. I bought one of those keyless locks for the front door.

My keys have a 3 digit code number on them as well. When I ordered my Bauer front door lock (see image below) I provided them this code number and it now my door opens using my phone, the private 4 digit number I programmed and the Jayco key that matches all my other locks.
If someone really wants to get into your camper, they will. All locks, on any property, are to make it more work for the bad guy, not to fully protect. The 'key alike' is better than we've ever had before - one key would open any camper. Now there are many different possible keys and the bad guy will likely just avoid new Jayco campers.

... agreeing with the others. It's a convenience for the owners, but doesn't add anything as far as security goes.

Finally replaced all of my 751 keyed locks to match my entry door lock, and have an overabundance of spare keys now. Bought the replacement locks on ebay.

You can take all those 751's and now open every NCR atm in the world if you want.
