jayflight 28bhbe fridge won't work

Hey guys, New to the forum just bought my second travel trailer, this week. The norcold model# N811RT fridge won't chill in the fridge or freezer. I had a jayfeather in the past with a similar fridge and never had any problems. Apparently the dealer I purchased it from didn't test the fridge before selling me it. I ran it for 24 hours and still nothing, also its perfectly level. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm heading out on the first voyage Wednesday. The controll board led lights go on and the coils get very hot outside behind the plastic pannel but it's warm in the fridge. Thanks!

Subscribed. I have the same trailer, but my fridge works fine... I'd like to see how this turns out. (Sorry, I don't even have a suggestion).

Other than the fridge it's a awesome travel trailer. Love it.

Agreed. I haven't had any real problems, and most of the ones I've had have been of my own making.

If you bought new then it's in warranty. If pre-owned then maybe a talk with the dealer would yield some results. However, I would also expect the dealer knew there was an issue and unloaded it on you hoping to get to repair it on your nickel.
Sorry that I don't have any helpful knowledge for you. All I know about these is that if the outside stuff gets hot then the inside should be cold.

It's brand new so its coverd. I'm assuming it was not gone over as well as they should have. Going to rough it with a few coolers for now. But get it fixed when I get home.

Check the ground wire connectors. The service manager actually found the problem. He replaced them and it has worked flawlessly since. That was almost 3 months and 6000 miles ago. 2 techs working on it couldn't locate the problem. They will check the ground wire connectors now.
