JBL Aura Stereo

I just purchased a new 5th wheel (319MLOK) and it came with a JBL Aura stereo. Unfortunately it sounds worse than the speakers in the tv. It needs a little bass to help it out (not trailer rattling bass) but not sure what subwoofer to invest in. Anyone out there have the same stereo with a subwoofer installed? My understanding is subwoofers come installed in the Pinnacle and North Point. Would love to find out what the part number is of the subwoofer as I would like to keep it all JBL if possible. Thanks in advance.

Hello - I was looking for the same type of upgrade. I added the following subwoofer (it's not JBL but seems to be a good option for the money & has a $15 discount right now). With a little work I was able to fit it in the cabinet behind the TV in our 321rsts. Check measurements to see if you have the same option. I had to remove 2 screws at the end of the shelf in order to lift it a bit to allow the sub to slide in over the cabinet framing - then screwed everything back together once the sub was in place. I may move it behind the fireplace or to the pantry later, but that requires a little more work.

Nothing is going to make this system sound great, but with the sub adjusted to my liking it does make a big difference. ~Mike

Here to help. Cheap and does the job, but not huge bass. It does make the system sound much better without spending much money though. We have a 330 RSTS and I had to remove the shelf behind the TV to fit the sub. I used double sided tape to hold down the supports and it rode from Dallas to Ft Lauderdale with no issues. Still leaves room behind the TV for my bag of random cords :-)

I plan the same upgrade and hoping there's plenty of room on the floor behind the fireplace. Did you check that area?

I was able to pry it off with the plastic tool that was included. The area to pry from is on both sides of the main unit, you can feel the slots with your fingers.

I did not but I hear there is plenty of space behind the heater.

Attached is the manual for my JBL system. Notice on page 6 there is a photo of the back of the unit and it shows the outputs available.

I see, thank for the reply. Unfortunately my JbL aura cube is not the same as yours. It’s square and there is no subwoofer outlet. May have to invest in a new radio.

I don't use my JBL system, precisely because the sound is not good enough. Here are two solutions I've used:
1) Large soundbar connects via HDMI and Optical to our TV
2) Small soundbar connects via Optical to our TV

Both have really good bass and are bluebooth so they connect nicely to my phone. JBL makes a subwoofer that's a big box, over $300 - but I suspect it's only for the AURA model, that's what comes in the Pinaccle. Basically most any soundbar would be a huge improvement. Buy an affordable one, try it out and if it's not what you like, simply return it in the original packages for a refund and try something else.

These are good solutions for the tv audio but I enjoy the radio especially when I can Bluetooth YouTube audio.

My JBL cube only has aux rca input. It’s different from other Jbl aura cubes I’ve seen. Mine is square.

I put this in my 330RSTS.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KVQBA...PG8XZB1TM&th=1

And, it has speaker-level inputs so I just tied into the B zone. Made a huge difference in the audio quality. It just fit under the shelf behind the TV.
