I checked the ladder on my Eagle and it is the same as the picture edalanta posted. It has a sticker that says" Rated at 300#". I am 189 so I hope it never is a problem.

Spoke with Atwood and they are sending me end cap replacements for my ladder.
They said that the end caps have been redesigned. I also had to send them a picture of the type of end cap I had, to make sure it wasn't the redesigned model already (it wasn't)
Attwood was very accommodating. Apparently Jayco sent me one with the older design caps. I got it from them in March of this year. Will post when the new caps arrive.

My new caps arrived about 2 weeks ago. They are identical to the ones I sent them back.
I installed them and so far they have been holding up to the 3 times I've climbed them.
They may have changed the type of plastic they use. If it happens again I'll be on the phone with them again.
