Level switches/ indicator

Skeptical about the accuracy of my level switches, particulary the fresh water. I fill the tank completely up, tanks shows full, fill the sink to do dishes, tanks shows empty, there is no way I used 45 gallons of fresh water. I ran the water for 3 days and level still didn't show accurate reading. I topped up the tank, this time, appeared to be working correctly. Anyone else have issues?? I don't even trust my black and grey water tanks!

Any solutions?

thanks in advance.

Folks report accuracy problems with their gauges in this order:
Most often, black; sometimes grey; and infrequently fresh.

Since your fresh water seems to be working now, give it another chance.

Most often, the black tank gauges suffer from 'contamination' from solids. Sometimes serious flushing and increasing the amount of water in the black tank corrects the problem ... for a while.

There are after-market gauges that are more accurate, but they would be expensive and installation could be a problem for some vehicles. For most of us, we rely on experience and judgement and stick with the inaccurate gauges.

When I first checked under our brand new trailer the level sensor sires were hanging down where any road debris could easily hit them. I quickly rearranged them so they were up tight to the bottom of the floor.
