Living Room TV removal from TV lift

I took a quick look at this last night to see if I could figure out how to remove the TV from the lift mount on my '18 377RLBH. Has anyone done this before and if so, how did you do it?

I'm looking to remove it from the stand so I can access additional wiring such as the HDMI ports at the bottom of the TV. I'm also considering replace it with another manufacturer such as Samsung, LG, etc for modern conveniences like smart TV functionality, 4K, and digital optical out for my Sonos Playbar.

I had to do the same, it wasn't easy to remove, best way I found to get to the ports was to open the window and use a ladder to access it from the outside.

Am in process of replacing the TV in my Precept. Not sure if your mount is the same, mine lifts out from the dinnet and has a granite top. My biggest problem was removing the valence from the window in order to reach the screws holding the TV to the lift. Once you get that far, you can easily see what's next. My new TV is a little larger so have to redrill the mounting holes so new TV will drop all the way down. The mount uses self-tapping screws so that's not hard either.

I would remove the fireplace.............a lot easier than removing the TV.

This is a standard item in our rig! https://www.amazon.com/pickup-tool/s?k=pickup+tool

It is easier to remove the fireplace in my rig. than the tv.

We have one of these tools both in the home and in the trailer. Outdoors at home they are great at picking up stray pine cones, small branches etc. without raking the whole yard.

In the camper we use the grabbers mostly for picking up cig butts and other trash before we leave a campsite. We are non-smokers, but a lot of folks smoke yet. No problem with that, but I wish they could hit the fire pit when done with their smoke. LOL. We always try to leave a campsite better than we found it. I'm always finding new uses for this tool.

We have one of both (the blue Nifty Grabber, and the Unger Pro Nifty Nabber). The Unger in particular is a great tool. The jaws are strong enouh that I can use it to grip my CPAP machine bag and stash it on the top shelf of our home closet (9' ceilings in the house).

Back to the TV question, this discussion started in 2017. Does anyone know how the OP's issue was resolved?

X2, my 5er has a window directly behind, way easier to access mounting bolts but a 2 person job.

Moderators Note: The op has not been active on JOF for over 3 years. This often happens and many questions are never answered but the question is still valuable as others have commented on the same problem and offered solutions.
