Looking to do a plumbing change

Due to a water leak in my Jay Feather 226 2010 model,I gutted the bath. Before reinstalling the tub,My wife and I always found the tub to be a pain in the butt to climb into.It seems, there is a wood cradle under the tub, allowing space to install the trap.Im wondering why ,I couldnt or shouldnt install the trap under the trailer ,then tie it into the grey water line that runs from the tank to the dump valve. This would lower the tub by 6 inches,Appreciate any info. thanks, Mike

As long as the shower floor is still above the top of the tank you shouldn't have any back-up problems. It would probably drain a lot slower if you don't have the valve open though.

Uh, like freezing weather for one. Hanging it out below exposes it. The drop into the tank. Most people I hang with shower, but if you're using the bath, consider the positives and negatives before jumping.
