Loud furnace

I just have the stock furnace in my 2008 26BHS. Anyone know of a quieter replacement? or how to insulate it for sound?

depending on the furnace location you may be able to use sound deadening insulation such as hush mat or Dynamat. That should cut down on the noise.

Both my trailers furnace fans makes a LOUD GRRRRR noise. I always tell everyone it sounds like sitting the rear two rolls next to the window of a MD80 aircraft haha...

we don't use the furnace all that much just for the noise it makes. Wakes me up every time it comes on in the middle of the night...

There is probably a quieter replacement 12VDC motor for it but I have never heard of anyone replacing one???

I am pretty sure I am going to replace my whole heat concept in my OFF-ROAD POPUP using HYDRONIC Heat coming from my hot water heater. I don't really need all the heat that comes from the propane furnace which is way too hot for us and hard to get a even heat source from it.

Another change-out mod for down the road. I like this HYDRONIC concept for the smaller trailers...
