LP/Propane hose replacement

Can anyone tell me where to get a replacement for the Cavagna Group 18CE (or 18-CE) pigtail LP hose? Some animal ate through mine the week I brought the new trailer home. It connects the tank to the regulator of a dual tank system. I can find nothing online for a parts resource, and Camping World was little help (not sure they tried), although I suspect they do actually have it under a different brand. I bought one that I thought was the right piece, but later realized the threaded end to the regulator was smaller than the Cavagna Group hose.

My pigtail went bad a while back (one of the fittings began leaking). Dealer replaced it under warranty, but the one they had in their shop had the wrong size threaded end into the regulator as well, so the tech just grabbed an adapter out of his bin and threaded it on for me with the appropriate tape (yellow tape), and included some extra tape so I could put it on the regulator myself. Installed it when I got home, and all was well.

I wasn't going to drive my trailer to the dealership for a simple repair like that, so I just went and got the part one day when I was in the area and installed it myself. Dealer was happy to accommodate because it saved him and me both time and money.

A quick trip to Home Depot offered a short term solution, but I still need a replacement hose. After going through a hundred fittings trying to find a reducer, I couldn't find one with a 1/4 flange to 1/4 compression, which would have matched the threads on the new but wrong hose and the regulator. However, I did find a 1/4 plug which I can use to block the open side of the regulator. This at least gives me one tank for now, and I can swap tanks when one empties. Still need to find replacement hose though if anyone can help...

Do you have a propane vendor in your area who carries parts or fabricates hoses? That would be my next stop if you have one. We have a couple around here and they are sure to have the right hose and fitting. Or at least they can tell you where you can find one.

You mean this right?

Amazon.com: Cavagna (50-A-190-0041) 24" Acme LP Pigtail: Automotive

Also I would agree any dealer would have these parts on hand ifyou need it ASAP.

I Google, “LP tank serviced Marietta Ohio”, an found Anderson Propane Services. I bet they can make a custom hose, for a good price. If not they can point you to a shop in the area that can.

We have a few propane service facilities around here, and they have made me a number of custom hoses for less than what I would pay at a home depot type store.
