Make the sprayer connection useful?

I rarely use the sprayer connection on the door side of the camper. It uses the hose that I typically connect to the water dock faucet, and I find it annoying that is just supposed to hang there pressurized, the entire time.

Wondering what mods people have made to make it more functional. I want to add a quick connect to a valve and some form of faucet outlet.

My Keystone had something like this:Click image for larger version

I do not think this is the same type of male connector, as the Jayco sprayer port, though.

Ideas?

According to etrailer, this is the correct connector for the sprayer port. It is supposed to work on d&w or Valterra spray ports. Worth a shot, so it is on it's way.

I ordered this setup to add running water near my BBQ setup and added it to a storage unit that I built. This uses the same fittings that are in the wet bay faucet mounted in our Seneca.

Here is just the spout

Here is the whole setup for only $12 more.

I find it interesting that this connection says non-potable. I mean it is part of the same water system that is potable.Click image for larger version

What coupler did you use from the faucet to the male insert?

The faucet is a 1/2" male to 3/4" male host bib. The bendable faucet from etrailer is really two parts. A quick connect male to female 1/2" thread. And, the bendable tube. I just separated those two and added the faucet. The hose bib female to 1/2" male coupler is common in hardware garden hose departments. Click image for larger version
