Mcgiver for quick connect to weber q

Does anyone have a way of connecting my weber q to the quick connect on the trailer? Have to remove the regulator from the bbq or bypass the regulator on the tank.

I have a Greyhawk 31FS motorhome. It too has a LP quick connect along with a grill that hangs from the RV. The grill is very cheap and gets the side of the coach to hot! So I took the quick connect connector of the old grill. I removed the regulator from my Weber Q and installed the quick connector. The weber Q is a supurb replacement.

There's a thread that discusses this very thing, and I posted photos on what I did. Some parts I couldn't find locally, but I ordered them online, and others I got at the local hardware store. It's not that difficult.

I've since replaced the elbow with a straight coupler, simply to minimize the potential for kinking the hose.

Perfect. I too have a cheapy rvq that I can scavenge for the quick connect. Now I just need a longer hose so I can move it away from the trailer.
Thanks

Great! I can use something off of the RVQ to mod my Q1200.

We spent $42 for a gas grill hose ,brass fittings and gas sealant at Lowes and $15 at Camping World for the brass quick connect. We get to use our Coleman road mate XLE. It spent 3 hours in the store figuring out the connections but it was worth the time and money.
