Micro Air EasyStart 364

I am thinking about installing a Easy Start 364 soft start on my Jayco 242bhs. How easy is it for a do-it-yourselfer? Any tips? Did it make a difference on sagging your voltage while on a generator? I run a predator inverter 3500 Watt generator. My voltage will sag to around 100 volts when AC kicks on. Causes my TV to power down. Then after end rush of AC comes back up to around 119 volts. Will this prevent the sag?

All I can tell you (from my perspective) is that I installed it on the main a/c unit of my 5th wheel (50 Amp) and I can plug into the 110 outlet in the front of my house and run my residential fridge and a/c at the same time. I watched a utube video and followed the instructions for the install...took me 30 mins.

X4 and it makes a huge difference on my AC. Starts quieter and runs from my 2200 Honda no problem

Runs my AC on my 2000 Yamaha Inverter Generator.

VERY IMPORTANT STEP...… Make sure you do run the first 5 starts with the trailer plugged into the 30 AMP Pedestal somewhere.

By the way.... type coupon code AIRSTREAM
to get a discount.

.

That would be best for sure. I was too chicken to wait till we were at a campground to try it out. Manual says 20amp or more utility power is best. The other option is to use a gen to start it. However, the manual states it needs to be one with sustained power output to run the AC. No number mentioned. I’ve got the champion dual fuel 3400 which ran it pre-easy start, so figured it was good.
