Need help with LP fridge.

I have a Dometic LP fridge. We’ve been going cross country in our 2019 Redhawk 25R, class C for the past 21 days. Our fridge was working great until today when we stopped at our overnight CG and switch to shore power. I noticed my refrigerator thermometer getting higher and higher, up to 50° within an hour or two. (and it’s only 68° here), I then switch back to LP and now the needles headed the other way, getting colder. Anyone have an idea what might be going on?

Check a few minor things first. Go out and pull the intake and exhaust covers off and make sure that the AC plug is tight. Check vents and intake for blockage from trash, bugs, etc. Go inside and find the fuse/breaker to the fridge and make sure it is ok. If both of those are good you can also test the outlet for power. Several older threads on board failure and other problems beyond me but you should look them op. Cooling on LP at least shows your refrigerant is ok. Luckily, LP for fridge is not a big cost item if you can't fix it yourself.

Thanks Roger. I’ll check them all tomorrow. I know I need to clean out the burner tube. We camped in the desert a few days, very windy and dusty! Plus I see a lot of rust around the burner tube.
