New Shower Faucet

I just bought a new shower faucet and noticed that the hose outlet was pointing up where my old one is pointing down. Does that make a difference? Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Shouldn't make a difference. Can it be flipped? The only downside I can see is that it holds water in the outlet more than the downward one.

I supposed it could be flipped. But then hot and cold inlets would be reversed and the writing would be upside down.

Then I wouldn't worry about it. Consider it....unique! : ) As long as it works as it should.

I bought one a few years back and made sure it was oriented just like the old one.
