I contacted Renogy on how to attach my two 160 watt flexible solar panels to the roof of my 2019 - 264BH. They recommended that I use construction grade bonding cement. I chose GE. Mine are fine after 18 months and 21,000 miles.
I also wrote my name and contact number on the border of the panels.

To each his own and what works for you. In my situation drilling is the best option (if you know how), max solar power in limited space.
...roofs are penetrated all the time.
