No hot water, only lukewarm....., FIX.

HA! I think that fixes another "problem" I was having with my shower head. I recently installed a shower head with an on/off switch on the head itself to make Navy showers more convenient instead of having to turn the knobs and readjust between cycles. I noticed that after I turned the switch back on, the water was scalding hot for a second or two, then it would equalize back to my pre-set comfortable temperature. This may explain that situation!

We have learned to stand aside for a few seconds when using the head valve on the shower.

I was having a similar problem last week, first camp after dewinterizing. Took me a while to figure out, then it suddenly dawned on me I never closed the hot water bypass valve so cold water was mixing with the hot.

I was super impressed on how clean everything was in the video. Sure doesn't look like any of my hot water heater areas haha... I have to fight my way in among the black widow spiders, wasp nests and who knows what else lives there hehe...
