No wire diagram under warranty

I am looking to add some lights to the dark cabinets so I emailed Jayco for a wiring diagram so I can find the closest place to connect. Below is their response.

"Thank you for contacting Jayco customer service. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide the electrical schematics of your unit while still under our warranty coverage. I would recommend contacting your selling dealer for assistance with this."

I guess they don't know with all the mods I've made so far that most of my RV is likely not warranted anyway.

We bought a few battery powered LED lights for the dark areas. Yea, you have to replace the batteries from time to time, but made installation easy.

I would try calling. I called and they sent them to me, no questions asked. I figured if they questioned it, I would tell them I needed to add a power point for medical equipment.

You are fully allowed to modify the unit while under warranty. They just do not have to cover something related if you mess it up.

I did this & the kids were famous for leaving them on & killing the batteries. I want to put in LED strips connected to a door switch so they come on when you open & off when you close.

I might have to give this a try.

I do understand.
When I asked for the schematics for electric, I got what looks like the blueprint for it. Nothing specific other than general routing of wiring on the floorplan, and what is on each circuit, fuse or breaker. Very helpful, but general in nature. There was a separate one for the 12 volt, and the 120 volt circuits.

My unit is out of warranty now, but I still wanted to add lights in the Pantry and closets. Here is what I use and they are motion sensor / OFF / ON.
I keep them on the Motion Sensor mode and charge them as needed.

These have been a great addition and SOOOOO easy to install.
