Norcold Fridge - N8XRT - not cooling/shuts down when too hot

Anyone have any issues with this 2 way fridge shutting down when it gets too hot out?

When we store it in our driveway in Ontario (extremely hot these past few weeks), it will stay cold for about 2-3 days and then shuts down. Right now it's 30 degrees C in the fridge and it's on and set to high.

I've tried unplugging the Thermistor, waiting overnight and then restarting it the next day. I've tried it on both LP and AC. The trailer is level, etc.

Can't store any food in it when we go to leave to camp, but when we arrive at the campground and turn it on, it will start up after a while and by day 2 it's cool enough to store food in it again. I'm baffled.

Thanks

Our Norcold (a 4 door model) has 2 cooling fans in the back that help move air over the coils. They both failed and the fridge couldn’t get cold when it was hot outside. Replacing the fans got it working again.
Feel the pipes in back and if they are hot then it’s trying to work. Since you are having this problem on LP and AC I’d rule out the electric heater and burner. You tried removing the thermistor which should cause it to run full cold. When it’s not cooling verify that there’s 12v getting to the fridge. Possible the control board has a high temperature fault.
