Omni Directio Antenna

What is the best OTA Omni directional HD antenna? With directional antenna and between two cities have to choose what to point. Is there an omni direction antenna that WORKS that you don't have to point.

I have the factory antenna. Will I get a better signal with different OTA antenna. What directional OTA antenna is the best.

I don't think any Omni-directional with do the job better than what you have now.

I would look into getting a new signal amplifier first, if I suspected bad reception, then move to the antenna.

my last Class C was built in 2008 and didn't do well with digital signals for TV. After the $80 amplifier was installed, i got double the stations without any further tweaking.

Winegard makes a big flat antenna that looks promising, but they are way more expensive than the amp.

Omnidirectional TV antenna?

I was taught that was a bad idea. Even the earliest stuff required pointing the antenna in the general direction of the transmitter.

The amplifier I spoke of - http://smile.amazon.com/Winegard-RFL...inegard+rayzar

and the antenna that had my attention, until the amplifier doubled my stations. - Amazon.com: Winegard RVRZ25B Black Rayzar Air Retrofit HDTV Antenna: Automotive

It's not omnidirectional. You still gotta aim it towards the transmitter.

True enough. Given the fore and aft antennae arrays, I think it is agood as you can likely get in the sub $200 pricepoint. The retrofit kit is much cheaper, and as I check it out again, it might make mounting my wifi booster a little easier.

I mostly use a web site called Antenna web and find the direction to point my King Jack antenna to get the best reception for the CG. I use a signal strength meter to then fine tune the reception.

I put this on my antenna, and it helped with reception a lot. I also use Antenna web, or something like it for aiming it.
