Oops

When the brake controller was installed in my Sienna the dealer didn't use the plug and play adapter so when swapping that controller with the one i currently have in my Ram i had to cut the wires. I installed the junkier one into the Sienna no problem. I had the good one wired up to my Ram and it was dead as a doornail. Checked fuzes, all was good then i went into a bit of panic mode because we are camping tomorrow. I replayed the install step by step in my head then realized butt connectors don't work if you forget to strip the wires first. DOH.

That reminds me of the day the Dish guy installed our system. He spent 3 hours trying to figure out why he could not get a signal. My son came in and watched him do the end of the coax cord for the twentieth time and asked him why didn't he strip the center wire. He didn't strip any of the center wires on any of the coaxial cords. We did have TV that night thanks to my son.
