Does anyone know if you can keep the outside refrigerator on even when you are not using it for a week or more? Does it get too hot in there? Is there a mod anyone knows of to keep it on? We keep our camper set up all season and do not move it so i would like to keep the outside fridge on. Any thoughts or ideas?
I don't see why you can't run it all the time, One thing I did to mine though was added a power strip too it that way once I find the temp I like I will not have to touch the on/off/temp knob again. When I want to shut it off, I just flip the switch on the power strip, and have the ability to plug anything else need be in there.

Great idea jdorant! I think this year i will leave it on and see if it gets to "warm". Im just scared of a fire. With that being said it is fully insured..... lol
I think the "outdoor" refrigerators are 120 AC power only, so they may not have a vent. I don't know why you couldn't run it all the time.

You could always use a timer that is set up to turn the fridge on the day before arriving. Ofcourse, you would only be able to put drinks in the fridge that wouldn't be affected when the fridge is off.
