Oven won't stay lit

We had been using our Furrion oven a few times successfully. Then after removing the lower heat distribution panel to try and clean the splatter tray, I re-installed it. Not realizing that the positioning could affect the oven operation. The pilot would light and stay lit for an hour but after turning on the burner the oven burner and pilot would quit. It might take a minute or two but it wouldn't stay lit. I had been thinking that the air circulation from the internal fan had been drawing the pilot flame away from the thermocouple. Today, after moving the lower heat and splatter assembly forward as far as it would go before it would make contact with the oven door when closed, the oven stayed lit. We tested it up to 480F without a problem. The space from the oven back panel to the back of the heat tray is about one inch. This apparently allowed the pilot to maintain heat to the thermocouple and not shut down the gas valve.

Excellent observation and info. Thanks for posting your remedy, it should answer some oven issue questions other folks may have.
