Power converter problem--solved

Thought I would share this since I didn't see anything about it on the net. I have a 1998 jayco 12 udk popup I bought last week with a broken power inverter. Being the curious type I pulled it out tonight to see if it had any noticeably blown parts. It is the original converter and would have been made around the Time the worlds supply of capacitors got tainted. I can easily solder a new one in if needed. Anyway after opening it up and checking all them and finding all were good I noticed s tiny little fuse. I pulled it and low and behold its blown. Run down to the hardware store and for 5 bucks got new ones. Bam working converter. Ya it's a crummy cs2000 but hey it will work for now. Not sure but other converters may be the same. Even if it was a blown cap any decent electronics store can have you in and outing. Few minutes.

I've got the CS2000 and I want to thank you for the idea. I just bought this puppy and found the prior owner wasn't on the up on the condition?. I' check it out and see what I find. I could save that 100.00+ and use it for the water in the brakes problem:Beerchug
