power invertor?
Hi - I have a Jayco Bungalow. It was pretty warm here today (90) and my air was on. First, the radio quit, then awning lights. I turned off the air to be safe. It won't turn back on. I have 2 air conditioners, but can only run 1 since we are on 30.amp and use a converter because the camper is 50 amp. The lights are really dim. The ceiling fan works and the fridge. No tv, air, heat, radio, outside lights. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? My camper is only 4 months old. There is power to the camper.

Sounds like your converter is not working for some reason and the battery is draining. Need to check some DC voltages and look for blown fuse or bad connections.
Being on a 30a site kind of negates the benefit of 2 AC's

How have you determined that there is power to the camper? All indications that you describe indicated no 120 AC power. I would double check my shore power first. You say that you use a converter because the camper is 50 amp. Explain that!!

Your 50 to 30 adapter could be going bad and causing a low voltage condition. They have been known to melt internally.

The camper is set up for 50 amp, but the power in the campground is only 30 amp so there is an adapter or converter (?) At the plug into the pedastal.

Correct terminology is adapter. Converter is another thing. Sends us off in a different direction.

There are breakers at the power pedestal. Cycle all of them off then back on. There is are breakers inside your trailer. Cycle all of them.
Did that change anything?
