Propane Assistance Please

So I thought my old pop-up was gone, but like the cat the came back, I am stuck working on it as my daughter decided she wanted to refurbish...

One thing she has done (without checking) was to remove the inside stove. There is still an outside. I'm happy that she didn't just cut the rubber propane line; however, now I need to cap it.

I think this is the piece I need - https://www.amazon.com/LASCO-17-4049...07301&sr=8-12; however, I am hoping for confirmation...

I've attached pictures of the end.

It would be better to disconnect that hose back at a junction point and not have a propane filled hose flopping around inside a cabinet. The other end should go to a distribution block that an ordinary brass 1/4" or 3/8" male NPTF pipe plug will work.

I did find the junction box and yes, that does make absolute sense. Thanks for the safety reminder to shake me out of my laziness [emoji51]

One idea might be to attach a quick connect fitting to it so she could use a camp type stove inside on the counter if weather didn’t permit outside cooking. Our old 92’ pop up had a fitting like that and the stove was movable. You could use it inside on the counter or outside on a table, cool feature. She could also use the quick connect fitting to run an auxiliary heater like a Buddy Heater if needed. Just food for thought
