Hi all, Just picked up a 2001 Jayco Eagle 10UD. While snooping around I discovered that the propane leak detector wires are not hooked up to any power. If you look in the picture I am to assume the wires are supposed to splice into the wires next to them that have an existing inline splice adapter. Anybody confirm this please? Thank you!
If this is the original detector it should be replaced anyway. They only have a 5 year life expectancy.
When you do hook it up black goes to white and red goes to black.

I bet they were pulled out then the detector failed ...
You mean "when" the detector failed, don't you? That's my guess too. It started going off for no reason at 3AM, so whoever owned it got pissed and yanked out the wires. No biggey. It was going to be sold to someone, anyway.

I reconnected it and it does work or at least powers up and the test button works. I like that the replaceable units are combo co and lp. Thanks for the replys.
