I've got several Camco hoses, some 5/8" and some 1/2". They've been OK for me. Camco also sells a 'premium' drinking water hose at a premium price.

To my knowledge a garden hose hasn't killed anyone from drinking out of it. Just keep the ends clean, sanitize it, and keep it separate from the other hoses.

Batman drank from a garden hose, and I think he is ok?

I love this hose! It’s so easy to work with. It’s a super soft rubber. It seems to be made of the same thing as the flexzilla garden hose.

The camco blue hose is good, much stronger than the white hoses.. I get a 50 footer and cut 20 ft for normal usage and 30 ft for longer hydrants

Love my Flexzilla hoses, been using them for years and are drinking water safe. A lot of people say they drank out of a garden hose and are fine, we’ll times change and the brass fittings used on hoses are all made in China now and have extremely high lead content is the reason for the warnings.

I have stayed in some campgrounds that state they have an ordinance city or county that dedicate the color of the hose supplying water. But I do agree with Wyldink.

True a garden hose hasn't killed anyone that I'm aware. I drank from them enough times as a kid. But there is definitely a difference in how the water tastes. In theory any hose used with a filter will be just fine.

That said we don't drink the local water. I had a problem once many years ago that I believe was water related. We just use a white hose from a local home improvement store.
