question on "Handi Hose"

I was at CW in Albuquerque today and saw a collapsible water hose (suitable for drinking) that came on a reel that was called Handi Hose (I think). It came in 25' or 50' versions (this is not the incredibly shrinking hose advertised on TV). It appears that as you reel the fabric-type hose up it squeezes the water out so the hose is stored on this neat and compact reel. After dealing with a standard drinking hose the past three days in cold weather this looked like a pretty good alternative. Anyone have one of these? Reviews?

I remember when I was a pre-teen Toro came out with such a hose in a plastic wind up reel like a surveyors tape. It was like a light duty fire hose made out of canvas type material and would kink real easy unless it had about 100psi of pressure in it.

I have one of those hoses! I don't ever use it! I use a traditional 25' white hose for fresh water (with in line filter at faucet) and a traditional 25' grey hose for flushing black/grey tanks.

I use two separate round, electric cord reels, to manage each hose. Picked them up at Wal-Mart. Works great! I ll send pictures if you'd like next time I visit my camper in storage! :-) (sometimes it gets lonely and I need to visit it for comfort).

I would like to see that. A couple nights ago, when I was taking the hoses in at 10 p.m. due to sub-freezing weather, I'm sure the other campers were wondering just what-the-heck I was wrestling with out there in the dark. So, any help would be appreciated

Here's a pic:

When I arrive at the campsite I connect a four port manifold to the water spigot. Each port has a shut off valve.
1) white hose 25' with regulator and filter for RV water
2) gray hose 25' to black/gray tanks
3) white hose 5' with spray nozzle to rinse stuff
4) open if needed

Oh yeah and the electric reels work real good as 25' water hose reels too!

We have two of these looking to get another one. We have had them for years. Love the way the Handi Hose works.

I had one of those roll up hose years ago. You have to unroll the whole thing. It was a pain to roll it up and you had to clean it off as you went with a rag or crud got in the roller and it would hang up.

I like my Zero G hose, easy to put in a bucket and drinking water safe. Light when empty and seems durable and like new after 2 seasons.
