Readings on meter?
So this started happening yesterday (see picture), at least that is when I noticed it. Getting zero reading on current and power but then later in the day noticed it was working. Now doing the same today.
I checked all connections, no problems.
Any ideas why it's doing this?? Thanks!!!!

Well, going by only the meter, it's correct. Watts is a product of voltage times current. You're showing 13 volts and zero amps of current, so you get zero watts of power. I can only assume that the camper is not using ANY electricity at all.
Now, if that's not the case, it might be prudent to read the manual for that monitoring system. There might be certain conditions that those figures are a normal function.

Are you having any power issues?

Ah I should have mentioned i am boondocking, RV is plugged into a 2000w inverter, radio is on, fridge cooling fan is running so no way it can be at 0.
Don't think any documentation came with it except the wiring but I'll look.

I'm an idiot when it comes to things solar, but is it possible that the batteries are charged and the solar is providing enough power to run the fridge fan and radio?
Later in the day, the sun moves then shows usage?

Hmm, interesting theory, I think that could be a possibility 🤔
I'll try to keep an eye on it and see when I see usage on the meter.

So yeah, that was it!! About 4 pm it started to show some usage.
Thats why I love these forums. Thanks for the help!!

That's something you might want to make a note about. Knowing when your peak solar power window is, is a good thing. That way, you can dial back the A/C for less consumption off the inverter, and make the batts last all night.

I have 200ah lithium batteries, I can run stuff all night haha I don't run that much.

I have that same unit and added a couple of switches so I can turn it off or reverse the polarity and see the charging values.

Hmm, same unit meaning the meter? Why would you turn it off?

It's actually quite bright so I turn it off for anybody sleeping in that area. It's right next to my thermostat. I also don't boondock and don't refer to it very often so there's no need to run it 24/7.

Oh I see! Mine has a little button on the front, if you push it it turns the light off, if you hold it in it resets the readings.

You need to share what the meter is measuring.
That meter may only be measuring the solar charging.
It might only be measuring a specific circuit.

It is wired directly to the battery.....I found out it goes to 0 once the solar is putting in more than what it coming out.

I guess that meter can only read one-way. In other words, discharge, but not charging.
So as long as the solar is charging equal or more than your usage it is at zero.
At 4pm, your solar starts dropping and you begin discharging more than your solar is charging.
Then you see the output numbers.
Maybe getting a shunt that can measure both input and output would help you get the full picture of your usage.
For lead acid, just looking at volts can give you a pretty good idea of what percentage you are at.
The Victron BMV shunts are amazing, but they aren’t cheap.
