I recently installed four 100 watt solar panels towards the front of my 27 foot travel trailer's roof. After the installation, I found that my rear camera no longer Wi-Fi connects to the screen in the truck cab. That prompted me to install the provided 15' cable antenna to bring the antenna that much closer to the truck cab but to no avail. Short of trying to extend that antenna wire all the way to the front of the trailer, has anyone ever run into this problem and had a solution?
In my troubleshooting efforts, I took the screen and walked to the side of the trailer to be within about eight feet of the antenna and my signal was re-established. That's what led me to believe that the solar panels were interfering with the Wi-Fi signal.
The photo shows where the solar panels are located. The 15' forward movement of the antenna (not pictured) now places it between the air conditioner and refrigerator vent.
