Releasing bed struts

I lifted my queen bed all the way up and locked the struts in the open position. How do I release the struts so the bed will close? I have a Jay Flight 32RLDS. Thanks

Our struts don't 'lock' to hold the bed up, they just extend fully and hold the bed. We just push the end of the bed down and the struts compress.

That's how mine works. It's just like the hood on a car that has gas struts.

That's how mine work too. I must have over extended them when I lifted it up. It won't go back down now.

Problem solved. I found out that since I didn't have the mattress on the bed there wasn't enough weight to make the struts work. I put weight back and over the middle and it worked. I just paniced when I couldn't push it down from the end. Note to self, "need weight on bed to close". Thanks for the help guys.
