Replace GFCI breaker?

Can I replace this GFCI breaker with a regular 15 amp breaker and put a GFCI receptacle in the circuit? It's low and hard to get to.

It doesn't trip constantly, but often enough. I'm going to check the connections for tightness. While I'm in the panel I would rather replace it. The circuit goes into the bathroom, living room, popup receptacle on kitchen counter, and under the dinette. The bathroom would be the easiest, and in other Jayco that's where it's always been.

Problem will be the receptacles since they are not the same as what you use at home. They're probably not mounted in boxes and more like this..

Thanks, Grumpy,

I'll check for that profile with a GFCI. Maybe Colerain RV parts can find one. If I have to replace that breaker it was listed for $58 at Home Depot.

The S807 GFCI receptacle on Amazon shows to be the same dimensions but wire connections are different. What all is plugged in and being used when the breaker trips. The GFCI receptacle will not prevent the over loading of a breaker if that is what is happening.

A GFCI outlet is about $25.00, plus the extra work to install. Personally, I think you are better off just replacing the breaker.

Is the GFCI or the breaker tripping? I have had really good luck with GFCI breakers lasting a long time. GFCI outlets not always. Ultimately need to figure out why it is tripping. If it is tripping once a year, no big deal, Tripping weekly/monthly need to figure out why, as it is doing its job to protect you. It could be just a loose wire connection, Jayco is well known for this issue.

$25 for the GFCI outlet
$7 for a new breaker
$0 time, but there will be a lot of it

$50 for a straight replacement and 1/4 of the effort.

You will need to have a wiring diagram to know which outlet is the first one out from the breaker and feed the rest of the circuit off the first one. that box may not be deep enough for a GFCI. I would take the easy way out and just buy the panel breaker.

After all, your time must be worth something?

What is makeing the breaker trip ? Bad appliance or Wife's got a blow dryer & curling iron on while an electric coffee pot running ?Has it tripped since brand new ?
I had a GFCI problem that should have shown on day one. I thought I had bad plug after about 9 yrs . Replaced plug & still tripped every now & then. I then looked at breaker to check connection & found the bare gnd wire on the neutral bus & the white neutral on the gnd bus, these panels are wired as sub-feed so gnd & neutral are isolated from each other. Swapped the 2wires & no problem since. Why it didn't trip for years I don't have a clue.
