Replacing Slide gasket
The small round gasket on the top, inside lip of one slide needs replacing.
I'm wondering how to access it with minimal manual labor? It's about 14' wide. I'm thinking the slide awning will have to come off to get under it.
Any sources other than Jayco to purchase the gasket?

My dealer is pricing the replacement gasket for me. I am going to try and find an after market supplier.

I wouldn't even know where to point you too on slide seals. There's a bazillion places to get them, and each one has 100 options. Kind of overwhelming when I go look for them. At least that's an easy one, being in a track. No doubt it'd be easier to pin off the topper, and lay it on the slide roof. I'm guessing you've removed a few of those before.

Replacing Slide gasket
Yes it's from Jayco's. Did not seem out of line for the amount. I have the same type around all my slides and even the same stuff on a Larado right next to me so it must be pretty common. I have not ordered it yet cause we leave for a month trip next week.
I have not removed a slide topper like mine but have helped on a Dometic material replace years ago. Mine is COC.
I'm thinking removing the ends and blocking the spring should be pretty good with some extra hands. I'll be looking for some utube videos before diving in. I plan on cleaning the top seals and doing a good inspection while it's off.

I've never done the coc either, just a bunch of dometics. You'd think it'd be similar.

Using this video I am sure changing the top outer gasket will be a simple task. I have ordered the gasket material from my dealer after driving over to CW and getting the bums rush. They wouldn't even look it up and I had a sample.

Don't you just love Camping World? They remind me of a lot of Rv places. Look there, buy elsewhere.
