Thumbs up Replacing sliding window wiper seal (video).

Jayco uses different window suppliers...., one of them is "Cleer Vision Windows" (CVW) and you will find their name on the window glass (corner of).

The vertical wiper seal in slider windows is attached to the center metal mullion and is replaceable without disassembling or removing the window. These wiper seals have a tendency to shrink and create gaps for moisture intrusion.

The wiper seal in question comes in contact with the sliding window during open/close operation....., and I presently have my TT in for replacement of all wiper seals due to shrinkage 'gaps' (warranty claim).

The following CVW video provides the wiper seal part number and simple R&R instructions.

My vertical wipe seals have shrunk at least a 1/2 inch at top and bottom. Thanks for sharing this video. I will be replacing them now I know how.

Thanks for the great video, We have at least one I have to do in the spring, and now it looks easier than I thought. I might just do all of them, and be done with it for another 7 years!

I just had 6 of my Cleer Vision Windows wiper seals replaced under warranty..., pretty bad they didn't even make it outside the 2 year Jayco warranty.

I'm hoping the new seals last longer than the original seals as a result of cutting the seals to an adequate length as referenced in the video. I provided the same video to my RV dealer prior to the repair.
