Roof Vent Knob Falling Down

The knob that you turn to open the roof vent is falling down because the screw holding it in place is missing. Does anyone know the size of this screw so that I can reinstall the knob? The 2018 Melbourne 24L is currently stored at a hardware store and I’m tempted to buy a variety of screws, but I thought someone might know the specs for this roof vent knob screw.

I've got the same problem! I was going to take out the screw from the other vent handle and match it up at the hardware store.

I ended up buying an assortment of screws for under a $1 from the local hardware store. The second one I tried fit the roof vent knob and the knob now doesn't fall out. Small victory...

Not as cheap but I just put a drop of blue Loctite but if you want to go cheap fix use a bit of the wife’s fingernail polish.
