Rubber Roof Conditioner

We have a Jayco Designer with gel coat finish. I know everyone has their favorite roof cleaners/conditioners but which one do you use that will not harm a gel coat finish when hosed off the roof? Our previous travel trailer was alum siding and what I used then didn't harm the siding but left an almost impossible residue on the widows I don't want to use something that will create a similar problem on the gel coating.

My roof material is made by Alpha Systems. They recommend dish detergent to clean the roof. No mention of any conditioner, just keep it clean with dish detergent.

We have used the original blue Dawn dish detergent for years- Be sure to use the original UNSCENTED version as birds are attracted to flavored versions- The birds will peck at the roof material looking for food- JMHO- DD
