I changed my Coleman Mach thermostat to a Honeywell digital, and mine WILL run the furnace and the AC fan at the same time. Just checked.

Could you post the model number please? Also, does it wire up any differently from Coleman Mach thermostat?

It's a Honeywell RTHL2310. Bought at HomeDepot or Lowes for $25 or so. Don't remember if it wires up differently. Just 4 wires, G, W, Y, and R. There are threads here that explain how it's done.

So I bought a $25 Hunter thermostat from Walmart, and finally got around to installing it.

It works much better than the stock Coleman thermostat. I can run the fan (for the ac) in the on position, and run the heater at the same time. DW will be quite happy about this if the lows this weekend are as forecast.

Thanks to all for tips and suggestions.
