Rv gps

Hi can someone tell me if a RV GPS is worth getting instead of using just a regular GPS? If so which one is the best? I just bought a new 25 ft class c.

We love the Garmin RV 760 LMT and you put in your height, weight and length and it will route you around obstacles- very handy to have Les

Have the 770 and like it for all the reasons others have said. Also you can hit one button and get RV services.. ie propane, service etc. near you.

I was wondering this as well. The amazon reviews are all over the place. Some say that the GPS routed them away from places they knew were fine to navigate. Some said they worked great.

Funny...in 2016 we were going to Brown County, IN from Cincinnati, OH. Mainly freeway & good size main roads. The one main road we needed turned out to be closed for construction so DW put the information into the GPS. It took us all over the place, literally all over the place & it turns out we were less than 1/2 mile from the place we needed. It took us through little communities and the streets were so narrow, that we had to pull in the mirrors in so others could pass. Spent close to an hour to get to the spot we needed. I am still an old fashion map reader while DW has to turn the map upside down if going north! Give me a map any day.

DW does not trust her cell phone though.
