Well I put off long enough.

PT50C ordered and should have by Tuesday in time for next trip Thursday.

we have a 26.5 RKS and i hardwired a surge protector where the connecting cord comes in. works real well. do not buy a cheap surge protector. should spend $250 for a 30 amp and about $300 for a 50 amp. they are well worth it. got our's on rvstuff.com sandy and tom

Was that a surge protector or an EMS (Electrical Management System)?

Here is a picture of my Progressive EMS-PT50C at my home base site. I just added the pole mounted box today. Maybe the chain and lock will help and maybe not, but it won't walk off without some effort.
