Sanitizing Jayco 16 MRB

I am getting ready to go camping and I read that I need to sanitize the fresh water tank. I'm rather new at this. I can't find the shut-off valves to the hot water tank. Where are they? I took out panels behind the hot water heater and there is only one valve that I can see. Please help

You might include the year and model on your unit for best advice.

On my 195RB the valves are almost hidden in the area around the pump and the hot water heater. A flashlight and some time feeling around should give you the location of the diverter valves. There should also be the drain valves. On mine they are not visible at all from outside. You could stick your phone in there and take some pictures.

I add chlorox to my fresh tank, let it set, pump it through the lines and heater, let it set a few hours and drain it all out. I flush it with a few gallons but as we carry drinking water we are not fussy about the flushing.

Most folks seem to have the 3 valve bypass setup but I’ve a 2 valve version. Should be close to the back of the WH. A cold line going in and hot coming out. The bypass will connect the two with some valves involved.
