Seneca refrigerator

We just took out our new 2020 Seneca.
The residential side by side whirlpool refrigerator is hot to the touch on the strip between the freezer and fridge.

Is this normal?

Does it seem like it’s cooling in refrigerator and freezing in freezer?
I believe it does get warm when defrosting.

That is done to keep condesation from building up. Some models have a "Power Saver" switch to turn it off. Check your owners manual.

Yes. The refrigerator seems to be cooling and the freezer is working well too.

I would feel better if the frame between the two doors was warm. But it's hot!

Just went out and checked the residential fridge (Whirlpool) in our 2020 Accolade. The fridge has been running constantly for a couple of months and there is no part of the frame that is warm or hot to the touch.

More than likely we have the same fridge.
