Should my slide operate on Battery power?

Still new at this.
I have a 2006 Jay Flight with one slide. (bought it recently)
Should the slide work on battery power or just shore power?
Mine only operates on shore power.
Thanks

Should definitely work off the house battery. I usually don’t operate mine unless I am on shore power but I have operated my one slide several times off the battery with no problem.

Yes on the battery. Are you sure the battery is good? It might run the lights but not have enough “umph” to push the slide. On shore power does it seem like it’s struggling to move the slide, perhaps the slide is binding.
