Shower not hot enough

The hot water for the shower is not hot even though the water in rest of camper is. I have a 2018 north point and the shower is a single handle. Anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it. Thanks

Not sure if this would be applicable or not but I recently replaced the single handle shower faucet in one of the bathrooms in the house. It seems that all the new faucets come with a "mixing valve" that restricts the amount of hot water that can be mixed with the cold (the nanny state at it's finest I guess... ). It sounds like your faucet may have this feature which would explain why the shower doesn't get as hot as other faucets. It can be adjusted, to a certain point, by removing the cover and moving the mixer towards the hotter setting.

Not sure but a couple of common items to look at.

If you have an outside shower, double check and make sure both knobs are off. Sometimes folks turn off the head and forget to turn off the knobs and it will flow cold water into the hot side.

The other item is the hot water bypass valve. Usually when it's left in bypass the water isn't hot anywhere. Always worth checking.

Find the make and model of the shower valve. Most have a handle and or plate/cover the comes off. Under them is usually a setting system that sets the cold vs. hot mix.

If you can, look up some you-tubes on single handle mix valve setting. There are a lot of different models but all have the same end purpose of limiting the hot to avoid a scald. Yep nanny state it is!

I replaced mine with dual handle. It would do cold or very hot but would not mix.
