Slide Out Tray for Front Compartment

I will be receving my new 2013 29QBH in the next few weeks.

I am looking to install a slideout tray on the drivers side front compartment that I could extend out, put my hitch and WD bars on it, slide it back in, and then lock it in place.

I remember seeing somethiung similar on the higher end 5th wheel units at the RV show. I have also seen them on slide out battery trays, etc.

If anyone has a link to where I could purchase a slide unit like this, I would appreciate it.

I assume as far as mounting, there would be framing below the floor of the front compartment that I could bolt to with lag bolts?

Sandpiper uses a black plastic one under the front end and I saw a pop up at the local rv show last week that had one where you mention but can't rememeber the name. Rockwood maybe.

this might be an option. I'd prefer to build it to suit my needs rather that buy off the shelf set up.

You can buy the hardware for it at almost any home improvement store.. just remember they do eat up some storage space
