Being around guys with hot rods and old muscle cars, along with trying to keep my 95 Lebaron conv. in one piece you think about those things. One thing I had considered was the John Deere rubber cleaner and protectant a soybean based
product. Thanks for the ideas!

I just was reading my owners manual and was going to ask a question about lubing the slides when I found this thread. The manual didn't mention the seals. Wonder why not. It did have this caution.

"This system contains a pre-lubed bearing that is lubricated when the room is
moved in and out. Do not spray oil or grease on the rails while the room is extended."
