Slide Topper Tension

Is there a way to increase the tension on my slide toppers? They appear to sag even without rain water on them. The toppers are manufactured by carefree and we have a 2012 351RLTS. They were installed by our dealer when we purchased the unit new.

Got the same problem. Was told by the dealer that we should get new material and replace it. Got told by RV mechanic the same thing. Am interested if there is another way.

Mine sagged from day one... was told to put an air mattress under it .. that kind of defeats the purpose to me..

Don't know if you saw this other thread on slide topper. This page 3 had some instructions for tension adjustment.

Thanks for the response guys. Once we get to FL this week I will take a closer look at David 472's link. It looks like it has all the information I need. I will take some pictures and post the results good or bad when we (I have a friend there waiting to tighten his as well.) finish. I appreciate the help. For some reason I always forget to use the search function.
