My OE RCA is a dinosaur, but still works well.
Only complaint is it lumbers thru scanning very slow and has no option to de-select analog scanning. Oh and the audio sucks from the built in speakers.

I wouldn't know if the reception was better we camp in a territorial park with no OTA reception. The reason we upgraded was to have the ability to attach media, ie. thumb drives etc to the tv.

What is the issue with the Furrion? The picture quality? OTA scanning?

Something to keep in mind is that a smart tv is only as good as the wifi network it's connected to, if you plan on using smart features connected via the internet, ie Netflix, facebook, etc...
Many CG's and RV parks throttle down wifi so no one hogs the bandwidth. I've tried to stream video at my seasonal site via CG wifi to my Roku stick. The connection/signal is not wide enough to work as they throttle it down.
You can purchase your own device to gain internet access, or use a smartphone as a wifi hotspot, but watching video uses a lot of data if you're paying by the Gb.

The only thing the TV in my RV will be replace with is additional storage.

And I don't need any of that either!

We did upgrade to a smart tv. The first RV park we stayed in had great wifi and we watched movies on Netflix with no problem. I'm sure some parks are better than others where wifi is concerned. No complaints so far.

The Wi-Fi at the camp site suck, well the one's i,ve been to anyway but I think that for now I will wait until we goes out on some more trips.
