solar charging

Does anyone know if the solar input on the Eagle Ht 5th Wheel is hooked to the battery when you turn the battery disconnect swich to disconnect? I want to install a solar panel with a controller to keep the battery charged during periods of storage.

Look at your batteries and if you don't see extra wires coming in then the disconnect switch will shut off the solar too.. a photo of your battery bank would help...

battery maintenance

Thanks. I'll check that out. Right now I'm only looking to keep a trickle charge on the batteries.
